Global Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary 

Our Global Supply Chain Supervisor will be directly responsible for supporting, coordinating, and supervising supply chain activities within the organization.  This role will report to the Director of Operations and Director of Procurement.  This individual should be a motivated, self-starter, with the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.  Strong excel skills are a must as is the ability to maintain detailed reporting on a weekly basis.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage, track & trace inbound shipments from our global supply base and step in to resolve issues when needed.
  • Report inventory levels against customer forecasts to support team members and processes.
  • Enter Purchase Orders from customers and create monthly reports of actual usage.
  • Manage inventory at various warehouses to maintain proper inventory levels and risk and execute inventory transfers between warehouse locations.
  • Work with operations and procurement on product assembly, distribution, and costing across warehouses and co-manufacturers.
  • Uphold excellent customer satisfaction through customer service and constant communication.
  • Support Account Executives on logistics and provide forecasted rates for potential sales.
  • Communicate and negotiate with all freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and customers in a professional and helpful manner to ensure expectations are achieved.
  • Manage claims against carriers, suppliers, and other responsible parties.
  • Collect orders from customers / sales department and coordinate deliver.
  • Proactively manage supply chain costs to help the company achieve its goals.
  • Enter, review, and approve vendor invoices.
  • Be positive and contribute to corporate culture.
  • Support multiple departments reporting requirements and data needs.
  • Coordinate and manage all incoming freight from vendors and outgoing freight to customers ensuring product gets to where it needs to be, on-time, and within specification.
  • Learn the ins and outs of NetSuite to extract necessary reporting to support team members.
  • Work closely with operations and procurement to understand timing, volume, and quantity of products needed to support current and future purchasing needs.
  • Complete customer forms related to product data.
  • Assist Procurement Manager, as needed, in other purchasing areas, namely seafood and packaging, and coordinate delivery where and when needed.
  • Assist operations and quality assurance with projects and other duties, as needed.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Associates Degree required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in supply chain.
  • Strong Excel proficiency required.

Accounting Finance Manager

Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Accounting/Finance Manager to join our team! As an Accounting/Finance Manager, you will make sure that all daily activities, month-end close and reporting are completed accurately and on time.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
  • Analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Prepare month-end reporting package for management review.
  • Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
  • Work closely with operations to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
  • Reconcile and analyze monthly gross margin report to ensure accurate margins and financials.
  • Support month-end close process by recording accruals, journal entries and reconciliations for the assigned areas.
  • Banking and treasury management.
  • Improve accounting procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Create written policies and procedures.
  • Assist in developing company financial budget.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records.
  • Coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
  • Support ERP optimization projects.
  • Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Working experience as Accounting Manager or Finance Manager.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
  • 5+ years of related experience required.
  • Expert-level Excel skills are required, including strong fluency with advanced functions.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data.
  • Understanding and experience working with US accounting standards and GAAP.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and respect for confidentiality required.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
  • Prior experience with Oracle NetSuite.
